Built by hand on an untouched island, it began as an off-grid dream and became a space for stillness, creativity, & presence.

Its future is a living sanctuary devoted to wellness & conscious living—where healing happens naturally, and growth is grounded in real life experiences. Our mission is to foster a way of life that values presence, simplicity, and genuine connection. We invite guests to slow down and reset in an ideal environment, which encourages personal growth.

Sustainability

At Kactus, we’ve designed our daily rhythms around low-impact living.

We run on 24-hour solar power and embrace cold showers not only to conserve energy and water, but for their

refreshing & regenerative effect.

All organic waste is composted to enrich our gardens, and whatever the sea throws back, we collect—upcycling beach trash into art that sparks conversation and awareness.

Our eco-friendly soaps ensure nothing harmful flows back into the island’s soil or sea.

This place runs on intention: from how we power our spaces, to how we clean, cook, and create.

Every choice is a step toward harmony with the land we call home.

From Our Kitchen With Love

Our kitchen is the heart of Kactus—simple, generous, and full of love. Meals are home-cooked with fresh, local ingredients, sourced from the island, nearby villages, and our own garden when possible.

We serve vibrant, nourishing dishes inspired by Khmer traditions and Western comfort—always vegetarian-friendly, with options for seafood and meat that reflect what’s seasonal and available.

It’s about food that feeds you deeply, brings people together, and makes you feel at home—even barefoot on the beach.​
